The SSP fee is not national
The charter publishes two figures and splits them across immigration offices rather than across applicant types.

The gap is exactly ₱500.00, the express lane fee, and the two never appear on the same page of the charter. The calculator therefore asks which figure your office publishes rather than assuming one.
Totals at a working exchange rate
At ₱56.00 to the dollar the card is ₱2,800.00, so:

The card figure moves with the exchange rate every day, which is why it is an input rather than a constant.
Neither permit extends your stay
The charter says so of the SSP in terms worth repeating: it is issued as a matter of privilege and must not be considered an extension of the alien’s last valid stay. The underlying admission still has to be valid, and extended separately through the tourist visa extension route.
Conditions worth knowing before you pay
An SSP applicant must be below 18 in a bachelor course, or in a non-degree course, a short course under 1 year, a 2-year course, an ESDA course or an English language course. The school must already be BI-accredited to accept foreign students, and flying schools add an NBI clearance. The SWP checklist also requires proof of a TIN, so a 1901, 1902 or 1904 form or an AEP showing one.
An SWP covers gainful employment of 3 to 6 months. A consultant or specialist must be at least 25 years old, with attested proof of education and at least 2 years of relevant experience. A regulated profession needs a Special Temporary Permit from the PRC.

The charter adds that processing time is for a single application and compounds for each added one, so a school filing for 20 students is not filing one three-day application.
