PhilHealth Contribution Calculator

PhilHealth

Work out a PhilHealth monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual premium from a monthly income, a rate you enter, and the income floor and ceiling.

Enter the current rate and confirm it with PhilHealth
The lowest income PhilHealth charges on
The highest income PhilHealth charges on

This calculator does not carry current agency interest or dividend rates. You enter the rate, so a result is only as current as the figure you typed.

It is an estimate for planning, not an official quotation, and PhilHealth's own computation is what governs. Confirm the figures before you commit to anything.

Where these figures come from

About these figures: the numbers below come from PhilHealth's official published sources: PhilHealth | Advisory No. 2026-0042, Reimbursement Claims Abroad and Premium Contributions (https://www.philhealth.gov.ph/advisories/2026/PA2026-0042.pdf, retrieved 2026-09-01); PhilHealth | Premium Contribution Table (https://www.philhealth.gov.ph/partners/employers/ContributionTable_v2.pdf, retrieved 2026-09-01). Agencies change fees and rates without notice, so confirm with PhilHealth before you rely on them. Last verified: 2026-09-01.

What this calculator does

You give it four things: a monthly income, the premium rate, and the income floor and ceiling. It returns the credited income after clamping, and the premium monthly, quarterly over 3 months, semi-annually over 6 months and annually over 12 months.

The rate and the two thresholds are inputs rather than constants, and that is deliberate. PhilHealth has moved all three repeatedly.

Why the rate is not built in

Year Income range Rate Monthly premium
2019 ₱10,000.00 to ₱50,000.00 2.75% ₱275.00 to ₱1,375.00
2020 ₱10,000.00 to ₱60,000.00 3.00% ₱300.00 to ₱1,800.00
2021 ₱10,000.00 to ₱70,000.00 3.50% ₱350.00 to ₱2,450.00
2022 ₱10,000.00 to ₱80,000.00 4.00% ₱400.00 to ₱3,200.00
2023 ₱10,000.00 to ₱90,000.00 4.50% ₱450.00 to ₱4,050.00
2024 to 2025 ₱10,000.00 to ₱100,000.00 5.00% ₱500.00 to ₱5,000.00

The rate moved in five consecutive years, the ceiling moved with it, and PhilHealth’s own table footnotes that the rate stayed at 4% for CY 2023 against the 4.50% the schedule shows, because a premium adjustment was suspended. A calculator with the rate hardcoded would have been wrong in most of the last eight years.

What to enter today

PhilHealth Advisory No. 2026-0042 states that Direct Contributors, including OFWs, pay 5.0% of monthly income effective January 2025, under PhilHealth Circular No. 2020-0005 (Revision 1).

Field Enter Source
Premium rate 5 Advisory 2026-0042
Income floor 10000 PhilHealth’s published illustration
Income ceiling 100000 PhilHealth’s published illustration

Confirm all three with PhilHealth before relying on a result. PhilHealth’s own premium contribution table publishes rows only to 2025 and carries no row for 2026.

Checking it against PhilHealth’s own figures

The calculator is tested against the three rows PhilHealth publishes in its advisory. At 5%, floor ₱10,000.00 and ceiling ₱100,000.00:

Monthly income Monthly Quarterly Semi-annual Annual
₱10,000.00 ₱500.00 ₱1,500.00 ₱3,000.00 ₱6,000.00
₱30,000.00 ₱1,500.00 ₱4,500.00 ₱9,000.00 ₱18,000.00
₱100,000.00 ₱5,000.00 ₱15,000.00 ₱30,000.00 ₱60,000.00

Those are PhilHealth’s numbers, not this site’s. If the calculator ever disagrees with them, the calculator is wrong.

How the clamp works

Income below the floor is charged at the floor, and income above the ceiling at the ceiling. That is why PhilHealth states the minimum monthly premium is ₱500.00 per month.

Monthly income Credited income Monthly premium
₱4,000.00 ₱10,000.00 ₱500.00
₱8,000.00 ₱10,000.00 ₱500.00
₱55,000.00 ₱55,000.00 ₱2,750.00
₱150,000.00 ₱100,000.00 ₱5,000.00
₱250,000.00 ₱100,000.00 ₱5,000.00

If you are employed

The figure this calculator returns is the total premium. PhilHealth states the employer deducts half of the premium requirement from your monthly salary and remits the total, so an employee at a ₱30,000.00 income sees ₱750.00 deducted against a ₱1,500.00 total. The employer guide covers the split.

What it does not do

This calculator does not know your membership category, whether your contributions have posted, or whether an interest charge applies to a late year. It computes a premium from the inputs you give it.
