Vancouver is one of the few Philippine posts that publishes a single dated schedule covering every service it charges for, rather than scattering fees across service pages. This one is effective 26 February 2025.
Where and when
| Detail | |
|---|---|
| Address | 999 Canada Place, Suite 660, Vancouver, British Columbia |
| Monday to Friday | 9:00 am to 5:00 pm |
| Last Friday of each month | 9:00 am to 6:00 pm |
| Urgent ATN line after office hours | (604) 653-5858 |
| Closed on | Canadian and Philippine holidays |
The last-Friday extension to 6:00 pm is an extra 1 hour that most posts do not offer, and it is the only variation in the week. Like Milan, Vancouver closes against two national holiday calendars rather than one.
Passport fees
| Service | Fee (CAD) |
|---|---|
| New passport or renewal of an existing passport | 93.00 |
| Travel document | 46.50 |
| Replacement of a lost brown, green or maroon passport | 139.50 |
| Replacement of a lost ePassport | 232.50 |
| Affidavit of lost or mutilated passport | 38.75 |
A lost ePassport costs 271.25 once the affidavit is added, against 93.00 for an ordinary renewal. That is 2.92 times the routine fee, the same multiple Milan charges in euro. Losing an older brown, green or maroon passport comes to 178.25 all in.
Requirement checklists for each route are in the passport renewal in Canada guide.
Notarial, civil registry and citizenship fees
| Service | Fee (CAD) |
|---|---|
| Notarization: jurat, acknowledgment, authentication or certification | 38.75 |
| Civil registration: Report of Birth, Marriage or Death | 38.75 |
| NBI | 38.75 |
| Other certifications | 38.75 |
| Expedite fee | 15.50 |
| Petition to correct a clerical error in a civil registry document | 77.50 |
| Retention or reacquisition of citizenship, adult principal | 77.50 |
| Retention or reacquisition of citizenship, per dependent | 38.75 |
The flat 38.75 does most of the work here, exactly as €25.00 does in Milan. Correcting a clerical error is priced at 77.50, double the 38.75 it costs to register the document in the first place.
A family reacquiring citizenship pays 77.50 for the principal and 38.75 per dependent, so a couple with two children comes to 193.75. What the process itself involves is covered in the dual citizenship guide, and the Philippine-side certificate in the PSA birth certificate guide.

| SIRRV | 620.00 |
| Non-quota immigrant under section 13(a-g) | 232.50 |
| Extension of a re-entry permit or special return certificate | 232.50 |
Nationality decides the price on the same 9(a) visa. A Canadian passport holder pays 46.50 for a single entry; a foreign citizen resident in Canada on a work permit pays 62.00 for the identical visa, a difference of 15.50.
Crew list visas
| Crew list visa | Fee (CAD) |
|---|---|
| 40 or fewer crew | 155.00 |
| 40 to 100 crew | 232.50 |
| 101 to 200 crew | 310.00 |
| In excess of 200 crew | 356.50 |
The bands flatten sharply. Going from 40 to more than 200 crew, a five-fold increase in people, raises the fee from 155.00 to 356.50, only 2.3 times. At the top band that is under 1.79 per crew member, against 31.00 for a single seafarer applying individually.
Paying
Cash, bank draft or postal money order, in Canadian dollars. Drafts and money orders must be made payable to Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver. The Consulate states in capitals that personal cheques, debit cards and credit cards are not accepted.
What this page does not cover
The schedule carries no processing times for any service, so nothing here states how long a passport or a Report of Birth takes in Vancouver. The 15.50 expedite fee is the only speed signal published. The Consulate also does not say when the next quarterly exchange rate review falls, only that the reviews happen, which means these Canadian dollar figures can move without the underlying US dollar rates changing at all.
