The Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus costs ₱125 and is the cheapest thing Pag-IBIG sells. You pay the fee once, at a branch, to AUB (Asia United Bank) or UnionBank personnel, and Pag-IBIG says the card is issued instantly. It carries discounts and rewards from over 500 partners nationwide, and it doubles as a card Pag-IBIG loan proceeds can be credited to.
What it costs and how to get it
Five steps, published by Pag-IBIG, and the money changes hands at step 2.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 | Visit any Pag-IBIG branch |
| 2 | Submit an accomplished Loyalty Card Plus Application Form and pay the ₱125 card fee to the AUB or UnionBank personnel |
| 3 | Have your picture taken and your fingerprints and signature recorded |
| 4 | Get your Loyalty Card Plus instantly and use it at the 500+ partners nationwide |
| 5 | Download and accomplish the Loyalty Card Plus Application Form before you go |
Pag-IBIG does not publish an expiry date, a renewal fee, a replacement fee for a lost card, or an annual charge on the Loyalty Card Plus page. This guide does not state any of those rather than guess them.
The published partner discounts
These are offers Pag-IBIG publishes in its own partner directory, merchant by merchant, with the discount rate stated by the merchant. Read every row as a merchant offer, not a Pag-IBIG rate: these are commercial arrangements and they change.

The spread runs from 5% to 30%, and the gap matters more than it looks. Thirty per cent at Shakey’s is six times the 5% at McDonald’s on the same peso spent.
What each discount is actually worth
The percentages above are official merchant offers. The peso columns below are arithmetic on those percentages done by this site, using round spend amounts chosen for comparison. They are not merchant quotations, and the spend figures are illustrative except where the merchant published a minimum.
| Offer | You spend | You save | You pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| McDonald’s 5%, at the published ₱200 minimum | ₱200 | ₱10.00 | ₱190.00 |
| McDonald’s 5%, at the published ₱500 ceiling | ₱500 | ₱25.00 | ₱475.00 |
| Generika 5%, at the published ₱300 minimum | ₱300 | ₱15.00 | ₱285.00 |
| J&T Express 5% on shipping | ₱500 | ₱25.00 | ₱475.00 |

| Angel’s Pizza 10% | ₱500 | ₱50.00 | ₱450.00 |
| Bo’s Coffee 10%, at the published ₱500 minimum | ₱500 | ₱50.00 | ₱450.00 |
| David’s Salon 10% | ₱600 | ₱60.00 | ₱540.00 |
| Vision Express 15% on a frame | ₱4,000 | ₱600.00 | ₱3,400.00 |
| EO Executive Optical 20% on a frame | ₱4,000 | ₱800.00 | ₱3,200.00 |
| Shakey’s 30% | ₱600 | ₱180.00 | ₱420.00 |
How fast the ₱125 comes back
Same arithmetic, turned around: how many times you would have to use each offer before the discount has covered the card fee.
| Offer | Saved per use | Uses to cover ₱125 |
|---|---|---|
| Vision Express 15% on a ₱4,000 frame | ₱600.00 | 1 |
| EO Executive Optical 20% on a ₱4,000 frame | ₱800.00 | 1 |
| Shakey’s 30% on a ₱600 pizza | ₱180.00 | 1 |
| Hi-Precision 5% on a ₱2,000 lab bill | ₱100.00 | 2 |
| Generika 10% on a ₱500 purchase | ₱50.00 | 3 |
| Angel’s Pizza 10% on a ₱500 pizza | ₱50.00 | 3 |
| Bo’s Coffee 10% on a ₱500 order | ₱50.00 | 3 |
| David’s Salon 10% on a ₱600 haircut | ₱60.00 | 3 |
| Human Nature 5% on a ₱1,000 basket | ₱50.00 | 3 |
| McDonald’s 5% at the ₱500 ceiling | ₱25.00 | 5 |
| J&T Express 5% on a ₱500 shipping fee | ₱25.00 | 5 |
| Generika 5% on a ₱300 purchase | ₱15.00 | 9 |
| McDonald’s 5% at the ₱200 minimum | ₱10.00 | 13 |
One eyewear purchase clears the ₱125 several times over. Thirteen ₱200 McDonald’s orders barely clear it. That is the honest range on a card whose headline is “over 500 partners”.
The points programmes, read carefully
Three national partners pay in points rather than a percentage, and the terms are worth reading before you count on them.
Puregold. Earn 1 point for a minimum purchase of ₱400.00 on cash and credit card transactions. One point equals ₱1.00 and can be used to buy items at Puregold stores. A minimum of ₱50.00 is needed to redeem points, and Pag-IBIG’s entry says redemption is currently available for Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card holders without an EMV chip. Reaching the ₱50.00 redemption floor at 1 point per ₱400.00 therefore takes 50 qualifying purchases, or ₱20,000 of spending. The same entry notes that members with newly issued Pag-IBIG Loyalty Cards become eligible for benefits 1 month after issuance.
Petron. Earn peso points on Petron Fuels and Petron Engine Oils at participating stations: 1 point for every 5 liters of Xtra, XCS or DieselMax, and 1.5 points for every 5 liters of Blaze100 or TurboDiesel. A 40-liter fill is 8 points on the first group and 12 points on the second. Engine oil purchases earn a maximum of 10 points.
Timezone. ₱260 worth of Powercard load for ₱200, which Pag-IBIG’s directory records as 30% worth of discount. That is ₱1.30 of load for every ₱1.00 paid, and ₱60 of extra load on a single ₱200 top-up.
The 11 partner categories
Pag-IBIG sorts its directory into these categories, which is the fastest way to find whether a card is worth carrying for the way you actually spend.
| Category |
|---|
| National Partners |
| Food and Groceries |
| Health, Medical and Pharmacy Services |
| Housing and Home Improvement |
| Education, School and Office Needs |
| Clothing, Apparel and Department Stores |
| Home Appliances, Furniture and Household Goods |
| Fuel, Automotive and Transportation |
| Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care |
| Hotel, Travel and Leisure |
| Other Essential and Special Services |
Alongside the national names above, the directory carries local partners such as Amira’s Buco Tart Haus, AMM Yangchow, Baker’s Plaza, Bakers PH, Ben Clyde Snack Haus, Bigby’s Café and Restaurant, 1st Colonial Grill and Alavar Seafoods Restaurant, which is where a good part of the 500-plus count sits.
The other reason to hold the card
The discounts are the advertised benefit. The quieter one is that the Loyalty Card Plus is a route into Pag-IBIG’s online loan applications.
| What you want to do | What Pag-IBIG requires |
|---|---|
| Upload an MPL or Calamity Loan application through Virtual Pag-IBIG | A Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus, or a cash card issued by a Pag-IBIG partner bank |
| Complete the loan application entirely online, where your employer is enrolled under Virtual Pag-IBIG for Employers | A Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus only |
| Receive the loan proceeds | A cash card, which the Loyalty Card Plus serves as |
That matters most when the loan is time-bound. The Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan runs at 5.95% a year and must be applied for within 90 days of a declared state of calamity, and the Multi-Purpose Loan runs at 1.4583% a month. Both lend up to 90% of your Regular Savings over 12, 24 or 36 months, and both list the card as the key to the fully online route. A ₱125 card obtained before you need it is a different thing from a branch queue during a calamity.
What this page does not cover
Pag-IBIG does not publish, on the Loyalty Card Plus page, the card’s validity period, a renewal or replacement fee, whether the ₱125 is refundable, whether the card works as an ATM or debit card, or a complete list of the 500-plus partners with their terms. None of that is asserted here. The full partner directory, with each merchant’s branches and terms and conditions, is on Pag-IBIG’s own Loyalty Card Plus page, and Pag-IBIG also publishes a downloadable Tipid Guide of partner offers.

- Do I need the card to apply for a Pag-IBIG loan online?
- Not always, but it helps. Uploading an MPL or Calamity Loan application through Virtual Pag-IBIG is open to members with a Loyalty Card Plus or a cash card from a Pag-IBIG partner bank. The fully online application form, for members whose employers are enrolled under Virtual Pag-IBIG for Employers, is open to Loyalty Card Plus holders only.

- Pag-IBIG treats the Loyalty Card Plus as a card its loan proceeds can be credited to, alongside cash cards issued by its partner banks. The card is powered by AUB and UnionBank.

- No. Partner offers are commercial arrangements and change without notice. Every offer here was read from Pag-IBIG's own partner directory on 31 August 2026. Confirm the current offer with the merchant before you rely on it.
