Where and who it covers

Detail
Address Grenstigen 2A, 181 31 Lidingo, Stockholm, Sweden
Jurisdiction applicants from Sweden and from Latvia
Notarial services Mondays and Fridays, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Payment, Sweden Swish

The Sweden and Latvia split runs through every fee page, and it changes how you pay rather than what you pay. There is no card option published for either country.

Fees

Service Fee Release
Passport, main route 840 SEK
Passport, second route 1,260 SEK
Passport, third route 2,100 SEK
Notarial and legalization, regular, per document 350 SEK after 5 working days
Notarial and legalization, expedite, per document 490 SEK
Civil registry: marriage, birth and death 350 SEK
Visa 280 SEK, 420 SEK, 560 SEK, 700 SEK regular after 5 working days, expedite after 2 working days

Expediting a notarial costs 140 SEK more and takes the wait from 5 working days down. On a visa the same choice moves release from 5 working days to 2, saving 3 working days.

The 14.0 conversion

Every Stockholm figure is the network’s US dollar base rate multiplied by exactly 14.0:

Service Stockholm ÷ 14.0 USD base
Passport 840 SEK 60.00 $60.00
Passport, second route 1,260 SEK 90.00 $90.00
Passport, third route 2,100 SEK 150.00 $150.00
Visa 420 SEK 30.00 $30.00
Visa 560 SEK 40.00 $40.00
Visa 700 SEK 50.00 $50.00
Visa 280 SEK 20.00 $20.00
Notarial, regular 350 SEK 25.00 $25.00
Notarial, expedite 490 SEK 35.00 $25.00 + $10.00

The expedited notarial is the line that proves the pattern: 490 SEK is not a separate rate but 350 SEK plus 140 SEK, which is the base $25.00 notarial plus the base $10.00 expedite fee. The same base schedule is published unconverted at Honolulu and appears in rupiah at Jakarta at a different divisor.

Because the third passport route converts to $150.00, which is the base rate for a lost passport rather than a renewal, 2,100 SEK is the lost-passport tier even though the page does not label it as such.

The 59-day rule

The Embassy states plainly that a person issued a Philippine visa is allowed to stay in the Philippines for a maximum of 59 days. That is the entry permission, not the visa’s validity, and the two are routinely confused: a visa valid for 6 months still admits you for 59 days at a time.

What this page does not cover

Stockholm does not label which passport route each of its three fees belongs to, so this guide reports the conversion rather than asserting a service name for 1,260 SEK and 2,100 SEK. It publishes no dual citizenship fee and no processing time for passports on the pages read here. Requirements for an overseas renewal are in the passport renewal abroad guide, and the Philippine-side civil registry record in the PSA birth certificate guide.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the Philippine Embassy in Stockholm?
Grenstigen 2A, 181 31 Lidingo, Stockholm, Sweden. Note that Lidingo is an island suburb rather than the city centre.
Does the Embassy cover Latvia too?
Yes. Every fee page distinguishes applicants from Sweden and applicants from Latvia, and the difference is how you pay rather than what you pay.
How do I pay?
Applicants from Sweden pay via Swish. Applicants from Latvia pay by cash or bank transfer, and the passport page names cash specifically. No card option is published.
When can I get something notarised?
Mondays and Fridays only, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. That is the tightest notarial window of any post covered on this site, and it means a document needed midweek waits until Friday.
What does a notarial cost and how long does it take?
SEK 350 per document on regular processing, released after 5 working days. Expedite is SEK 490 per document. The SEK 140 difference is the standard 10 dollar expedite fee converted at the Embassy's own rate.
How much is a Philippine passport in Stockholm?
840 SEK on the main route, with further passport routes published at 1,260 SEK and 2,100 SEK. At the Embassy's conversion those are the 60, 90 and 150 dollar base rates, so the 2,100 SEK figure is the lost-passport tier.
How long can I stay on a Philippine visa issued here?
The Embassy states that a person issued a Philippine visa is allowed to stay in the Philippines for a maximum of 59 days. Regular visa payment is released after 5 working days and expedite after 2 working days.
Why do the kronor figures look odd?
They are conversions. Every one is the US dollar base rate multiplied by exactly 14.0, so 840 SEK is 60 dollars, 350 SEK is 25 dollars and 280 SEK is 20 dollars.
