There is no single overseas passport fee. DFA says so itself: for passports applied for overseas, refer to the consular fees stated on the Philippine Embassy or Consulate website. This page collects the four posts covered on this site.

- No. DFA states that for passports applied for overseas you should refer to the consular fees as stated in the Philippine Embassy or Consulate websites. Each post publishes its own schedule in local currency.
- What do the four posts covered here charge?

- Does validity change abroad?
- No. Under Section 10 of RA 11983 and Section 53 of its IRR, a regular passport issued to a Filipino 18 years or older at the time of application is valid for 10 years, and 5 years for a Filipino under 18.
- Can I walk in at a post abroad?
- It depends on the post. Dubai does not accept walk-in renewals. Singapore states that a confirmed appointment is strictly required and no walk-ins will be processed. Hong Kong publishes a Courtesy Lane for senior citizens aged 60 and over, persons with disabilities, minors aged 7 and below and pregnant women, without an appointment.
- How long does it take abroad?
- Hong Kong publishes 6 to 8 weeks for ePassport processing. Riyadh publishes 30 to 45 days in the context of a re-application after an encoding error, and a 15 working days waiting period before approval of a lost-passport application. Dubai and Singapore do not publish a processing time on the pages read for this guide.
- How early can I renew?
- Hong Kong publishes that a passport may be renewed as early as 1 year before expiry. DFA's general advice is to secure the passport before booking flights, and to book only if the passport is valid for at least 6 months.
- What if I lose my passport abroad?
- Each post prices it separately: Dubai AED 600 for a lost ePassport and AED 360 for a lost MRP; Hong Kong HK$1,200.00 for a lost e-passport and HK$800.00 for a lost green or MRP passport; Riyadh SR 600 for a lost ePassport and SR 360 for a green or MRP, each plus SR 100 for the affidavit. In the Philippines, DFA publishes a ₱350.00 penalty.
