What if I need a loan OWWA does not offer?
Pag-IBIG and SSS both publish member loans with full terms: the Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan at 1.4583% a month and the SSS salary loan at 8% or 10% per annum over 24 amortisations. Both are open to OFW members.
Do I have to be an OWWA member?
For EDLP and Tulong Puso, yes. Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay pays non-active members too, at the lower ₱5,000.00 and ₱10,000.00 tiers. Membership is USD $25.00 and stays active until the contract expires or 2 years from contract effectivity, whichever comes first.
