Pag-IBIG publishes three grounds for an MP2 claim, and each has its own document list. All three share the same three core items.
The three grounds
| Ground | Who it covers |
|---|---|
| Maturity | Members who have reached 5 years of membership savings |
| Death | Beneficiaries and surviving legal heirs |
| Other grounds | Permanent departure from the country; expatriates with Pag-IBIG contributions |
The core three documents
Every ground read for this guide starts with the same list:
| # | Document |
|---|---|
| 1 | Accomplished Application for Provident Benefits (APB) Claim Form |
| 2 | Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card or Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus |
| 3 | 1 valid ID of the member |
The Loyalty Card Plus guide covers item 2, which Pag-IBIG issues at ₱125.
