How to Check Your SSS Contributions Online
Social Security System · online services
Quick answer
SSS contribution records are viewed through a My.SSS member account on the SSS website. Registration needs an SS number; the online SS number application is published at 20 minutes without document uploads, or 2 working days 10 minutes with them. A password reset is published at 15 minutes.

Where these figures come from
About these figures: the numbers below come from SSS's official published sources: Social Security System | Citizen's Charter 2026 (1st Edition, External Services) (https://www.sss.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/2026-SSS-Citizens-Charter-1st-Edition-External-Services.pdf, retrieved 2026-08-31); Social Security System | SSS Contribution Table (https://www.sss.gov.ph/sss-contribution-table/, retrieved 2026-08-31); Social Security System | Contact Us (https://www.sss.gov.ph/contact-us/, retrieved 2026-08-31). Agencies change fees and rates without notice, so confirm with SSS before you rely on them. Last verified: 2026-08-31.
Checking contributions is a My.SSS task, and the friction is almost always upstream: an SS number you cannot find, an account you cannot get into, or a payment made without a Payment Reference Number.
The account you need
| Step | Published time |
|---|---|
| Online application for an SS number without uploading supporting documents | 20 minutes |
| Online application for an SS number with uploading supporting documents | 2 working days 10 minutes |
| My.SSS registration for a member account | Published as a service, no single total |
| Resetting a My.SSS account and password, employer | 15 minutes |
| Resetting a My.SSS account and password, member | Published with multi-factor authentication steps |
The My.SSS registration guide walks the account setup in full.
If you cannot find your SS number
SSS is unambiguous: the SS number is a unique lifetime number that must always be used in all SSS transactions. A member who registered in the past and cannot remember it should not apply for a new number, and should instead coordinate through SSS’s information and service channels.
Why a payment might not appear
Posting runs on the PRN. SSS describes the PRN facility as existing to allow real-time recording and posting of payments.
| PRN route | Published time |
|---|---|
| Generation of a PRN through My.SSS for members’ contributions | 17 minutes |
| Online PRN contribution payment through the My.SSS member portal | 32 minutes |
| Online PRN for contribution payment through the SSS mobile app | 15 minutes |
| Generation of a PRN through My.SSS for employers | Published as a service |
| Online submission of the Employment Report R1A in My.SSS | 8 minutes |
The pay contribution guide covers the channels, and the SSS mobile app guide the app route.

What the number of contributions unlocks
Checking the count matters more than checking the pesos, because eligibility runs on posted months.
| Benefit or loan | Contributions required |
|---|---|
| Salary loan | 36 for a one-month loan, 72 for two months |
| Unemployment benefit | 36, with 12 in the last 18 months |
| Death benefit pension | 36 before the semester of death |
| Funeral benefit at the higher band | 36 up to the month of death |
| Disability pension | 36 before the semester of disability |
| Disability benefit at all | At least 1 before the semester of contingency |
| Educational assistance loan | 36, with 6 in the last 12 months |
| Retirement pension | Covered in that guide |
Where the record is used
| Situation | Why the record matters |
|---|---|
| Maternity benefit | The claim is computed from posted contributions |
| Sickness benefit | Same |
| Conso loan | Past due short-term loans appear against the same member record |
| Employer registration | Employers post contributions through the R1A and PRN |
| SSS for OFWs | Voluntary contributions after a contract ends keep the record continuous |

What this page does not cover
SSS does not publish, in the pages read for this guide, the exact menu path to a contribution inquiry inside My.SSS, how far back the online record goes, the turnaround for correcting an unposted contribution, or a downloadable contribution certificate. None of those are stated here.

Frequently asked questions
- Where do I check my SSS contributions?
- Through a My.SSS member account on the SSS website. Every online SSS service published in the 2026 Citizen's Charter runs off that account, and contribution posting for the MySSS Pension Booster is described as real-time and viewable there.
- What do I need to register?
- An SS number. The charter publishes two routes to one: an online application in the SSS website with uploading of supporting documents at 2 working days 10 minutes, and without uploading at 20 minutes.
- I forgot my password. How long does a reset take?
- The charter publishes 15 minutes for resetting a My.SSS account and password for an employer. The member version is published as a separate service with multi-factor authentication steps.
- I lost my SS number. Can I get a new one?
- No. SSS states the SS number is a unique lifetime number that must always be used in all SSS transactions, and that a member who registered in the past and cannot remember it should not apply for a new number, but coordinate through SSS's information and service channels.
- Why is a payment not showing?
- SSS ties posting to the Payment Reference Number. The PRN facility exists to allow real-time recording and posting of payments, and the charter publishes PRN generation at 17 minutes through My.SSS and 15 minutes through the mobile app.
- How much should each month show?
- 15% of your Monthly Salary Credit, plus the Employees' Compensation contribution. The MSC runs ₱5,000 to ₱35,000, so a full monthly contribution runs ₱760.00 to ₱5,280.00 across the schedule.
- Do the amounts above ₱20,000 count for benefits?
- Not for the regular benefits. SSS splits the MSC at ₱20,000: the portion up to ₱20,000 funds the Regular SS Program and Employees' Compensation, and the portion above it goes to the Mandatory Provident Fund, whose benefit is the accumulated account value.
- Who do I call about a missing contribution?
- SSS Hotline 1455, or usssaptayo@sss.gov.ph. OFWs have a dedicated line: ofw.relations@sss.gov.ph, (+632) 8364-7796, (+632) 8364-7798, Globe +63 977 804-8668 and Smart +63 998 847-4092.
