What can I sort out without calling?
Most routine transactions. The Citizen's Charter publishes online times of 17 minutes for PRN generation, 32 minutes for an online PRN contribution payment, 20 minutes for an SS number application without uploads, 15 minutes for a password reset, 12 minutes for a MySSS Card application and 8 minutes for an R1A submission.
Which services still need a branch?
The charter publishes over-the-counter versions of the death benefit and funeral benefit claim applications, disability claims filed personally or through a representative, and the release of a surrendered unclaimed UMID card. It also publishes a Public Assistance and Complaints Desk service at branches.
Where do I complain?
The charter publishes Public Assistance/Complaints Desk Services under the Branch Systems and Procedures Department. SSS also runs a whistleblowing portal linked from its site.
