Pag-IBIG splits payment into what you must pay and what you choose to pay, and both run through the same channels.
What you must pay
Since February 2024, set against the ₱10,000 Maximum Fund Salary at 2% per side.
| Member type | Member share | Employer share | Total a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Employed, private or public | ₱200 | ₱200 | ₱400 |
| Self-employed | ₱400 | None | ₱400 |
| OFW | ₱200 | ₱200 where there is a Philippine employer, such as a manning agency | ₱200 or ₱400 |
| Earning under ₱10,000 in a month | 2% of actual earnings that month | - | Varies |
Before February 2024 the employed member share was ₱100 and the employer share ₱200; the self-employed rate was ₱200 and the OFW rate ₱100.
Pag-IBIG states members may save more than the required amount. The contribution table sets out the schedule in full, and the Regular Savings guide the account it builds.
