Police Clearance Fee: ₱150.00 and What Else
Philippine National Police · clearances
Quick answer
A National Police Clearance costs ₱150.00, plus a convenience fee that varies by payment mode and is not published. Pay through the Landbank ePayment Portal, choosing Cash Payment for GCash, PayMaya, 7-Eleven or Bayad Center. Missing your appointment forfeits the payment.

Where these figures come from
About these figures: the numbers below come from PNP's official published sources: PNP NPCS | How to Apply for a National Police Clearance (https://pnpclearance.ph/how_to_apply_v2.pdf, retrieved 2026-09-01); Philippine National Police | Citizen's Charter 2025 (2nd Edition) (https://pnp.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/PNP-EXTERNAL-and-INTERNAL-FINAL-COPY-RE_CITIZENS-CHARTER-2025-2ND-EDITION.pdf, retrieved 2026-09-01); PNP NPCS | Terms and Conditions (https://pnpclearance.ph/register, retrieved 2026-09-01). Agencies change fees and rates without notice, so confirm with PNP before you rely on them. Last verified: 2026-09-01.
The National Police Clearance costs ₱150.00. What makes that figure awkward is where PNP puts it.
One document out of five carries the fee
| Source read | Publishes ₱150.00? |
|---|---|
| pnpclearance.ph landing page | No |
| pnpclearance.ph Terms and Conditions | No |
| pnp.gov.ph National Police Clearance page | No |
| PNP Citizen’s Charter 2025, 2nd Edition | No, National Headquarters services only |
| NPCS applicant tutorial PDF | Yes |
The exact wording is that the “Clearance Fee is cost Php150 only”, with an “Additional convenience fee may vary on the payment mode you selected”. Because PNP never states the size of the convenience fee, this page does not give a total.

The renewal that costs nothing extra to attend
The fee does not change on renewal, but the trip does. PNP states the clearance may be renewed without appearance for 3 years from the last appearance, with the clearance downloaded from the account profile rather than collected. The renewal guide covers it.
What this page does not cover
PNP does not publish the size of the payment convenience fee, a refund procedure, a discount or exemption for the National Police Clearance, a fee for the Clearance Certification route used by applicants abroad, or a fee for reprinting. None of those are stated here.

Frequently asked questions
- How much is a police clearance in 2026?
- ₱150.00. The NPCS applicant tutorial states the clearance fee is ₱150.00 and that an additional convenience fee varies depending on the payment mode selected. PNP does not publish the size of that convenience fee.
- Where is that fee published?
- In one document only: the NPCS applicant tutorial PDF on pnpclearance.ph. It is not on the pnpclearance.ph landing page, not in the NPCS Terms and Conditions, not on the PNP National Police Clearance page, and not in the PNP Citizen's Charter 2025, which covers National Headquarters services only.
- How do I pay?
- Through the Landbank ePayment Portal. For GCash, PayMaya, 7-Eleven or Bayad Center, select Cash Payment. Keep the Payment Confirmation Slip or electronic Official Receipt as proof.
- When do I have to pay?
- At least 2 banking days before your scheduled appointment. PNP states that failing to pay 2 banking days before the appointment date means cancellation of the transaction.
- Can I get a refund?
- No refund process is published. PNP states the opposite outcome: cancelling your transaction, or failing to appear at the issuing police station on the appointment date, forfeits the payment.
- Is it cheaper than an NBI clearance?
- Slightly. A National Police Clearance is ₱150.00 plus an unpublished convenience fee. An NBI clearance is ₱130.00 plus a ₱30.00 e-payment convenience fee, ₱160.00 in total, with delivery adding ₱200.00 within NCR or ₱350.00 outside.
- What is the ₱80.00 DI/PNP clearance?
- A different document. The PNP Finance Service schedule lists a DI/PNP clearance at ₱80.00, issued by the Directorate of Intelligence and used in firearms licensing. It is not the National Police Clearance and the two should not be confused.
- Do seniors or first-time job seekers pay less?
- PNP publishes no discount for the National Police Clearance on the documents read for this guide. Discounts are published for other PNP services: 50% on LTOPF for law enforcement and government personnel, 20% for senior citizens, and reduced neuro-psychiatric and drug test rates for seniors.
