The Embassy lists NBI clearance and Qatar police clearance as two different services. They are not interchangeable: one reports Philippine records, the other Qatari ones, and an employer asking for “police clearance” may mean either. Section C is the one people misread. An older passport is still filed as a renewal, but the requirements differ from an ePassport renewal, the same trap the UK and Malaysia both flag.
What is not published
The Embassy publishes no consular fee schedule on the pages read for this guide. That is unusual among the Gulf posts: Riyadh publishes a full schedule, as three JPEG images, down to SAR 0.50 for a photocopy.
