Where these figures come from

About these figures: the numbers below come from DFA's official published sources: Philippine Embassy Manama | Chancery, Contact Details and Working Hours (https://manamape.dfa.gov.ph/, retrieved 2026-09-01). Agencies change fees and rates without notice, so confirm with DFA before you rely on them. Last verified: 2026-09-01.

Bahrain splits its consular day in two, and that is the thing to plan around.

The split day

Session Hours
Processing applications 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Releasing documents 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
Days Sunday to Thursday, excluding holidays

You cannot apply and collect in the same session. Arrive in the morning to file, in the afternoon to collect.

The Gulf posts on this site all differ:

Post Days Consular hours
Manama Sunday to Thursday Apply 8:00 a.m.–noon, collect noon–4:00 p.m.
Doha Sunday to Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Dubai Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
Dubai, Friday Friday 7:30 am to 12:00 noon
Abu Dhabi Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm

Bahrain and Doha run a Sunday-to-Thursday week; the two UAE posts run Monday-to-Friday. Same region, different weekends.

Where and how to reach them

The two numbers are complementary rather than alternatives: the trunkline covers the working day, the hotline covers everything else.
